To Break a Heart

For every person, you either like them or not.
And sometimes.. you meet that one person that you love.
You think that they're the one you were destined to be with until something happens.
And then your heart shatters into a million pieces, and you wonder what you could've possibly been thinking.
Eventually your heart mends back together again, but there will always be that small memory of pain and regret.
You feel like there's no more reasons to live anymore, when fate brings another person into your life.
And then it begins all over again.

It's commonly found in Hawthorne Academy, a big boarding school in the midst of New York.
It's the school known for it's heart-aches, heart-breaks, and... vampires?
Welcome back to the not-so-average boarding school full of death, drama and gross lunch food.

December stared at the calender on her wall. Her birthday was exactly two weeks away. Sighing, she stood up and walked downstairs to the cafeteria.

Alexander was in the cafeteria that morning, eating pancakes. He really shouldn't have been eating them.. especially since they were still half-frozen. Gross.

Annabelle pulled into the Hawthorne in Thunder Bolt. "Great. Starting a new school all alone. With a secret. This won't go well" She rolled her shoulders and took the key out of the ignition. She sighed and got out of Thunder bolt and grabbed her suit case. She stuck her keys in her closet as she looked dully at the old worn out truck. December stared at Alexander, who was struggling to bite the frozen pancake.
"Ow, my tooth!", he moaned, nearly dropping the pancake.
"Lick it.. it'll last longer," December shrugged. She watched him begin to lick the pancake.

Annabelle walked in. Her head turned instantly to the cafeteria. She sniffed and looked around and sneezed "No way.." she looked at 'certain people' and turned her head once the lady at the desk got impatient "May I help you?" she said for the 3rd time. "Umm yeah. New here. Annabelle Mitch" she muttered looking back then rubbing her neck.

December paused, and then narrowed her eyes. Great. A werewolf.. She stood up, and started towards the doors so that she could go ahead and get out of here before anything bad happened.

Annabelle was stomping with one leg as she could hear the steps of a blood sucker walk in her direction. It killed her as she brought her back in when she tensed. She got her room number and schedual and turned sharply. She was nearly face to face with her. She stood there "S'cuse me." she mumbled just curious to know what would happen.

December stared at Annabelle hard. She wanted to attack, but it took all that was in her not to. But she didn't move.

"I said excuse me" Annabelle lifted her head bringing in her confidence. She swallowed and looked at her. Her arms were tightened as her grip was strong on her handle. She was planning out in her head; swing the suit case, aim low then pound her head.

December slowly moved out of the way. "Whatever."

Leah ran down the stairs, past December and Annabelle, and into the cafeteria. She needed to find her bag. She thought she left it in here this morning..

Annabelle walked on by dragging her suit case. "May the fist fly and the blood spill" she muttered walking up to her room. She threw her suit case in "Oh great. Sharing a room? Great. Just great" she sprayed Febreeze everywhere. "Ahh" she smiled. "Now I need some air" she jogged back down the stairs and everything went into slow motion when she walked back past the cafeteria. She rubbed her head and went on.

December walked back into the cafeteria, and sat down at an empty table. She hated werewolves. They were like crazy animals, and smelled like wet dog. It was absolutely disgusting.

Annabelle got outside. She breathed. "Fresh air. Not blood infested" she smiled and sat down on the sidewalk. She was kinda thirsty though but didn't want to go get something out of the drink machines since they were in the cafeteria.

December played with a straw, bored. She didn't want to leave the cafeteria right now because she was afraid she might run into that werewolf again. December scanned the cafeteria, and sighed. Looked like her sister was still sleeping.

Annabelle looked around and figured it was safe to go buy a drink. She got out her dollar so she would be in and out. She even straightened it before she went. She walked in and gagged a bit at the smell. "Gosh.." she made a bee line for the Soda Machine even though she wanted a water. She kept her head down

December stood up as soon as she noticed that the werewolf had entered. She made her way towards the door. But she turned her head to look at the cheerleaders out the window, and fell right onto Annabelle. Great. Just her luck.

Annabelle had to hold herself back from letting her arm swing. She swallowed hard and her eyes got even wider when she realized it was a vampire. Then they got even WIDER when she realized it was the same girl. "You" she growled. That was it. She lost it..

"Doggy-girl.. Nice to meet you too." December stepped back, standing straight. Her eyes narrowed.

Annabelle stood up "Blood sucker. Nice to.. nevermind" she cocked her eye brow at her "I wanted a water. So I'll be on my way. No apology nessacary" she brushed past her

December turned around, and slapped Annabelle right across the face. Okay.. technically, she hadn't meant to do that. It was just.. instinct. She didn't like to be called blood-sucker.

Annabelle stopped. She took in a breath "You wanna play that game? Fine!" she halled off and started to slap the vampire girl but changed her mind half way and curled her fingers into a fist and slammed it into her lower right eye. She shoved her dollar in her pocket after that and slid her shoes off, hoping the could become a weapon if neeeded.

Okay.. now December was mad. She punched Annabelle square in the stomach.
A crowd of students were beginning to form a circle around them, December tried to ignore them.

Annabelle gave up. She picked up one of her shoes and dove for the legs. She knocked December down. She started smacking her with the flip flop repeatedly
